Deep Clean Instructions

Keeping your MiniBrew clean means better tasting beer and a longer-lasting machine. The deep clean consists of two cleaning procedures that together give your base station a full reset from the inside out.

What's included in the Deep Clean Set?

Chemclean Powder (alkaline cleaner) — removes organic materials like proteins, stains, carbon, and fatty acids

Before you start

The regular clean program begins with a flush phase, where water is pushed through the system and into the CIP container. This is the moment you need to intervene — after the flush phase is complete — to add your cleaning ingredient before the program continues.

There are no pop-ups or prompts in the app telling you when to do this, so follow the steps below closely. Read everything before you begin. 🍺

Step-by-step: Chemclean Powder

1. Attach the CIP container to your base station and make sure it's properly connected.
2. Open the app and start the regular clean program.
3. Wait for the flush phase to finish. Water will fill the CIP container and flush through the system. Once you see that no more water exits from the outlet hose, the flush phase is complete.
4. Manually interrupt the program by disconnecting the CIP container — turn it anti-clockwise until the magnet inside is no longer above the sensor. The program will stop. ⚠️ This is expected.
5. Add 5g of Chemclean Powder to the water already in the CIP container and stir until fully dissolved.
6. Reconnect the CIP container by turning it back into place. The program will resume.
7. The machine takes it from here — it will circulate the solution and rinse the system at the end. No further action needed.
