A MiniBrew Brew Kit comes with everything you need to start craft brewing at home. Each kit includes fresh malt, hops, and yeast—pre-measured and ready to brew.

You'll receive ingredients to brew 20 beers (25 cl), delivered to your door whenever you want.

General Information:

  • Taste Profile: The Traiectum Tripel is a spicy, high-ABV recipe kit inspired by traditional Belgian tripels. Expect notes of pepper, clove, and citrus esters—especially orange—balanced by a sparkling body

Ingredients Needed

  • 1× mixed bag of malt
  • 1× Cademom 
  • 1× Orangel Peel (Bitter) 
  • 1× Magnum hop pellets
  • 1× Tetnang Tettinanger hop pellets
  • 1× Fermentis Safbrew T-58 yeast

Hop Instructions

  • Use 4 grams of Magnum hops in hop bag 1 during the boil.
  • Use 10 grams of Tetnang Tettinanger hops in hop bag 2 during the boil.
  • Use 5 grams of Orangel Peel (Bitter)  in hop bag 3 during the boil.
  • Use 1 grams of Cademom

The remaining hops can be sealed and stored in the freezer if you'd like to use them in a future brew.

Fermentation Schedule (Advanced)

This recipe uses a guided fermentation profile that is automatically controlled by your MiniBrew keg. Just follow the steps below and let the keg do the work.

Primary:

  1. The keg drops the temperature to 25C.
  2. Add the yeast into the keg;
  3. Attach the airlock to the keg post (located in the middle of the keg lid);
  4. Attach the trub container to the bottom of the keg;
  5. The keg controls the temperature at 19C for 5 days;

Conditioning 1: 

  1. The keg controls the temperature at 25C for 2 days;
  2. Remove the trub container and empty its contents.
  3. Replace the trub container.

Secondary:

  1. The keg controls the temperature at 15C for 5 days.

Conditioning 2: 

  1. The keg controls the temperature at 5C for 5 days;
  2. Remove the trub container and empty its contents.

Carbonation/Serving:

  1. Attach a cartridge to the pressure regulator.
  2. Attach a black ball lock connector to the regulator.
  3. Mount the regulator on the keg post with CO2 text.
  4. Open the regulator and wait 1 day.
  5. Replace the cartridge and wait 1 more day.
  6. Connect the tap to a black ball lock connector and attach it to the keg post with TAP text.
  7. Release the pressure inside the keg by gently lifting the overpressure valve.
  8. Pressure the keg to 5psi for a proper tapping flow and tap your beer!
