Can I Share My Account With Multiple Friends?Updated 2 days ago
Short answer: yes — brewing together is absolutely part of the fun! 🍺
That said, there's one simple rule to keep things running smoothly: one account per base station(s) and keg(s). Here's what that means in practice.
The golden rule: one account per base station
Each MiniBrew base station and keg needs to be linked to one dedicated account — an account that holds the brewing history for that setup.
Think of it like this: the account is the brain of your brewery. It remembers your recipes, brews, preferences, and subscription features. A base station works best when it has one consistent home to report back to.
What's totally fine ✅
Brewing clubs and groups sharing one machine If you and your friends brew together on the same setup, that's completely supported. One person holds the account, everyone gathers around, and you brew together. The account tracks the shared history for that machine.
Multiple friends, multiple setups If your brewing club has several base stations, each one just needs its own dedicated account. Each brewer (or setup owner) creates their own account, and you're good to go.
Rotating who brews on a shared machine As long as there's one account tied to that base station and keg, it doesn't matter who's pressing the buttons on brew day.
What doesn't work well ❌
Moving one account between multiple base stations. If one account jumps between different base stations with separate brewing histories, the software can't build a reliable brewing profile. This may cause features to behave unexpectedly.
Multiple setups sharing a single login. Each base station and keg should have its own account. Sharing a single login across independent setups isn't supported and can lead to subscription or history issues.
Why does it work this way?
Your MiniBrew account is closely tied to your brewing journey — the recipes you've refined, the brews you've tracked, and the features your subscription unlocks. When one account is consistently connected to one setup, everything works as it should: your history stays accurate, your subscription features apply correctly, and our support team can help you faster if something goes wrong.
